We are a systems integration company providing security, fire alarm, card access, video, telephone and entertainment systems to both residential and commercial clients.

Security Solutions, Inc. (SSI) is no newcomer when it comes to providing security and life safety solutions. The organization has grown from a small, regional provider of traditional burglar & fire alarm systems to a systems integration firm providing services throughout Connecticut and Metropolitan New York. SSI is a pioneer in making leading edge technology available to our customers. We were among the first to introduce Internet Alarm Monitoring as an alarm communication option to our clients.

The Present

Facilities
In April, 2003 SSI completed a major investment in our future by moving into our new Norwalk Connecticut Corporate Headquarters. This facility was custom-designed for our 24-Hour Alarm Monitoring & Service dispatch needs. Among the features built into this center are a brand-new, ultra-high-speed digital telephone switch and voice mail system, UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply), and two interconnected power generators. The on-site UPS, generators and redundant communications equipment components combine to provide complete system redundancy, ensuring nearly 100% uptime for virtually every aspect of our operations. The lighting, ceiling tiles and air handling system were custom-designed for our 24/7/365 operation and the health and comfort of our dedicated staff.

Culture
Since our origin, SSI has made a concerted effort to evolve from being "just the alarm company" to become a full-fledged, customer focused low voltage services partner. Our staff undergoes regular customer specific training processes to ensure that we approach our service with our partners interests in mind. Security Solutions specializes in providing customized and personalized systems and services to fit each subscriber's individual needs.

Networking
SSI has been a member of the Connecticut Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (CBFAA) since its inception, and a member of the National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) since 1985. Our involvement in these associations keep us at the forefront of the information pipeline when it comes to innovation in product offerings and quality services.

SSI also partners with many industry leaders through the Security Network of America (SNA) to provide custom tailored solutions to multi-site, high profile and national clients.

The Future

Our move into our new Corporate Headquarters and Communication Center was inspired by our need to be flexible for the future. SSI is well poised for significant growth within our existing facility, and on the property itself should we require additional space. The infrastructure that has been incorporated into our technology systems has virtually unlimited growth capacity. As our technological capabilities have changed with the times, so too have our abilities to rapidly and strategically evolve our customized service options. The investment in our facilities, equipment and human resources is one that will carry us through the next 20 years and beyond.
